In my classes we get started with Pranayama breathing exercises to calm your mind, clear your energy and let go of any stress you’ve been holding on to throughout your day, welcoming in positive energy into your practice!
After a slow gentle stretch to ease your body into your practice we’ll flow through a range of dynamic poses, connecting your breath to movement. Designed to de- stress, energise and uplift you as you stretch and strengthen your entire body leaving you feeling incredible from head to toe!
Poses can be modified to suit any skill level. I strive to create an environment in my class where everyone feels welcome regardless of skill level, ability or body type, the most important thing is that we are on our mats committed to doing the best we can for ourselves. It's about practice not perfection, how you look in the pose doesn’t matter but how you feel and the meaning you are giving to your practice is everything! There is no such thing as being "to stiff" or "not flexible enough" Yoga is for everyone and with consistent practice you will be amazed at what your body can do on your mat!
